A supplier audit s a special form of audit of certain parts or the entire proceses of an organisation (company, producer, service provider).
Our qualified auditors assess and evaluate the organisational and / or the technical performance of your suppliers. Usually the supplier’s current performance is determined on the basis of an actual situation and compared with the target situation contractually agreed between the two parties.
In this audit, all non conformities within the organisation or its processes are documented. Subsequently, the supplier might be requested to implement the necessary measures to optimise the processes before a certain deadline.
With these measures, you are able to ensure that the products or services purchased from the supplier are provided by the supplier in a consistently high quality complying with your expectations and specifications. However, the audit can also focus on individual technical or organisational areas of the supplier with the aim of improving, for example, trust, environmental friendliness, traceability, raw material purchasing, manufacturing tolerance, sensitivity to customer expectations, logistics or hygiene.
